We all have times in our lives when we feel "hopeless."
But with time, prayer, healing and the support of family and
friends, those times usually pass away.
Its different when youre hungry, homeless, or addicted to
drugs or alcohol. When youre living on the streets or being
abused, hope is often non-existent.
For many, Memphis Union Mission is the last hope. For
others like Michael, the Mission is the glue that keeps them
from "falling through the cracks."
Michael is proof positive that no matter how much education
you have, drugs can bring you down just as fast as the next guy.
While attending the University of Tennessee, Michael was
introduced to meth.
But it wasn’t until after he graduated from college and moved
back to Memphis with his fiancé that the trouble really began.
First, he lost a promising job at a local corporation after
failing a drug test. Then, the engagement was broken off,
again because of drugs.
Fortunately, Michael ended up at Memphis Union Mission where
he received Christ and went through our recovery program at
Calvary Colony. Today, Michael is back on his feet and
praising God and donors like you who helped him get his life put
back together.
Through the generous support of friends like you to Memphis
Union Mission, youve helped bring hope and healing into the
lives of hundreds of people. Now, we want to reach out to
hundreds more.
This spring we want to make sure everyone like Michael who comes to
the Mission gets a Message of Hope... especially those
who will learn about us for the first time at our Inner City
Outreach in May.
You can help us offer Hope to someone by
Giving a secure donation now
so we can put it to work immediately. You see, when generous
